Sunday 26 April : THE FIFE CIRCLE - Forth Bridge, Fife & Edinburgh Suburban Circle
Steam-hauled by 46233 Duchess of Sutherland

From EDINBURGH Waverley (morning and afternoon trains)   or   LINLITHGOW (to travel on morning or afternoon train from Edinburgh)
Morning and afternoon steam specials round the 'Fife Circle'; through Princes Street Gardens, over the Forth Bridge, along the Fife Coast and round the Fife Circle through Dunfermline then over the Forth Bridge again, returning to Waverley Station via the Edinburgh South Suburban Circle.
These excursions were cancelled due to 46233 being unavailable for operational reasons.
Saturday 23 May : FORT WILLIAM & MALLAIG
Steam-hauled between Fort William & Mallaig by Black Five 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier

From GLENROTHES with Thornton, Kirkcaldy, Dalgety Bay, Dalmeny, Linlithgow, Falkirk High, Croy, Westerton
From the scenic West Highland Line view Loch Long, Loch Lomond, Rannoch Moor and the Monessie Gorge. After a short break in Fort William continue on the train steam-hauled to and from Mallaig with views of Ben Nevis, Loch Eil, Glenfinnan and Morar.

Saturday 6 June : FORT WILLIAM & MALLAIG
Steam-hauled between Fort William & Mallaig by Black Five 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier

From AYR, Prestwick Town, Troon, Irvine, Kilwinning, Johnstone, Paisley Gilmour Street, Exhibition Centre, Dumbarton Central, Helensburgh Upper
From the scenic West Highland Line view Loch Long, Loch Lomond, Rannoch Moor and the Monessie Gorge. After a short break in Fort William continue on the train steam-hauled to and from Mallaig with views of Ben Nevis, Loch Eil, Glenfinnan and Morar.

Saturday 13 June : LEEDS, SALTAIRE & SKIPTON

From GLENROTHES with Thornton, Kirkcaldy, Dalgety Bay, Edinburgh Waverley
Along the East Coast Main Line through Berwick, Newcastle and Durham for a visit to the city of Leeds, the World Heritage Site of Saltaire or Skipton. The return route is over the spectacular Settle & Carlisle Railway then along the West Coast Main Line over Beattock Summit.

Saturday 18 July : PLOCKTON & KYLE of LOCHALSH

From NORTH BERWICK, Longniddry, Musselburgh, Edinburgh Waverley, Dalmeny, Dalgety Bay, Kirkcaldy, Ladybank, Perth
The Highland Line via Blair Atholl, Drumochter, Aviemore and Culloden to Inverness, then via Dingwall, Garve and the spectacular scenery along Loch Carron to Plockton and Kyle of Lochalsh.

Saturday 15 August : AYR for Culzean Castle or Alloway

From INVERURIE, Dyce, Aberdeen, Stonehaven, Laurencekirk, Montrose, Arbroath, Dundee Tay Bridge, Leuchars for St Andrews
Along the east coast including the Tay and Forth Bridges, across central Scotland and across Glasgow. Then through Paisley to the Clyde Coast for a visit to Ayr for a coach trip to Culzean Castle or Robert Burns Birthplace, Alloway.

Steam-hauled by Black Five 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier

From LINLITHGOW (morning train)   &   DALMENY or INVERKEITHING (afternoon train)
Morning and afternoon steam specials round the 'Forth Circle'; over the Forth Bridge, along the Fife Coast and round the Fife Circle to Dunfermline, then along the shores of the Firth of Forth to Kincardine and through Alloa to Stirling, and returning through Larbert and Falkirk.

Saturday 19 September : OBAN

From TWEEDBANK, Galashiels, Gorebridge, Eskbank, Newcraighall, Edinburgh Park, Linlithgow, Falkirk High, Croy
From stations on the new Borders Railway, then across central Scotland and over the scenic West Highland Line by Loch Lomond, Loch Awe, Ben Cruachan and the Pass of Brander to Oban with views across the Firth of Lorn to Mull.

Saturday 3 October : BUXTON

From LINLITHGOW, Edinburgh Waverley, Drem, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Alnmouth, Morpeth, Cramlington, Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham
Through York then via the Hope Valley and Peak Forest to the elegant spa town of Buxton in the Peak District. Return route via Stockport, Stalybridge and Standedge.
