From LINLITHGOW, Dalgety Bay, Kirkcaldy, Ladybank, Perth
Over the Forth Bridge and through Fife to Perth, then along the east coast through Dundee, Arbroath, Montrose and Stonehaven to Aberdeen.

Steam-hauled by LNER A3 Class 60103 Flying Scotsman

From LINLITHGOW (morning train)   /   DALMENY(afternoon train)   /   INVERKEITHING (evening train)
Morning, afternoon and evening steam specials round the 'Forth Circle'; over the Forth Bridge, along the Fife Coast and round the Fife Circle then along the railway through Culross, Kincardine and Alloa to Stirling.

From LINLITHGOW, Edinburgh Waverley, Dalmeny, Dalgety Bay, Kirkcaldy, Ladybank, Perth
The Highland Line via Blair Atholl, Drumochter, Aviemore and Culloden to Inverness, then via Dingwall, Garve and the spectacular scenery along Loch Carron to Plockton and Kyle of Lochalsh.

From GLENROTHES with Thornton, Kirkcaldy, Dalgety Bay, Edinburgh Waverley, Kirknewton, Lockerbie
Along the West Coast Main Line over Beattock and Shap summits for a visit to the historic city of Chester, or remain on board for a trip along the North Wales Coast to the elegant seaside resort of Llandudno.

From LINLITHGOW, Dunfermline Town, Kirkcaldy, Dalgety Bay, Edinburgh Waverley
Steam-hauled over the Forth Bridge and round the Fife Circle, then through Edinburgh and along the new Borders Railway to Galashiels and Tweedbank. Additional coach tours to Sir Walter Scott's Abbotsford House, historic Melrose and Seasons Restaurant, Gattonside.

From NORTH BERWICK, Longniddry, Musselburgh, Edinburgh Waverley, Dalmeny, Dalgety Bay, Kirkcaldy, Ladybank
Across the Forth Bridge, through Fife to Perth and north on the Highland Line via Blair Atholl, Drumochter, Aviemore and Culloden to Inverness. Return via Elgin, Aberdeen and along the coast to cross the Tay and Forth Bridges.
Passengers may leave the train at Aviemore for a coach trip through Speyside to visit Glefiddich Distillery at Dufftown, then rejoin the train at Elgin.

From AYR, Prestwick Town, Troon, Irvine, Kilwinning, Johnstone, Paisley Gilmour Street, Exhibition Centre
Follow the world’s most scenic line from the banks of the Clyde, past Loch Long and Loch Lomond, across Rannoch Moor and through Monessie Gorge to Fort William.

From NEWCASTLE upon Tyne, Cramlington, Morpeth, Alnmouth, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Drem, Edinburgh Waverley
Along the East Coast Main Line to Edinburgh, then across central Scotland to the Ayrshire coast. Spend the afternoon in Ayr, or take a coach tour to Culzean Castle (additional fare). Alternatively stay on the train over the scenic line to Stranraer. The train returns via Kilmarnock, Dumfries, Carlisle and the Tyne Valley line.
