Winter Diesel Gala
2 nd & 3 rd January 2016
Trains on the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway this weekend are hauled by some of the Society's impressive collection of diesel locomotives and other locos are on show. Diesel engines are no longer a common sight hauling passenger services on mainline railways and are increasingly important on the railway preservation scene.

'Day Out With Thomas' ©

Prebooking strongly advised

Premium Fare event for which discount vouchers including Tesco vouchers, complimentary tickets, Annual membership cards & vouchers and other discount passes are not valid. Visitors cannot access the site at Bo’ness and Birkhill without a pre-booked 'Day Out With Thomas' © ticket on these dates; this includes the station platform, fairground rides, Station Buffet and other facilities which are part of the event.

Santa Specials

Santa travels by Steam Train, giving a gift to each of the young passengers. Christmas decorations create a festive atmosphere. Adults receive seasonal refreshments at Bo'ness station.

Hogmanay 'Black Bun' Special Trains
Friday 30 th & Saturday 31 st December

Join us for complimentary traditional Scottish Hogmanay Black Bun and a hot drink whilst travelling aboard our nostalgic steam railway, juice and shortbread for the kids! A lovely family event. Travel on one of the last steam trains to run in Scotland this year. (Black Bun is a rich fruit cake in a pastry case.)
Low season timetable applies.
